Kenishia Green was born on August 19th, in Ocho Rios, Jamaica, where she later came to the United State at the tender age of 10. Living and attending school in Pennsylvania, Kenishia grew a passion and love for acting while participating in school plays and clubs at her high school. She later went on to study theater at Desales University, where she obtained her Bachelors of Art Degree in Theater and Performing Arts.

 

One year later, she was on her way to New York City to pursue her career in acting.  Kenishia's first official acting role since coming to New York, was as Keisha in South Brooklyn, whom she currently portrays on the show. Kenishia continued to pursue her acting career by landing a principal role in a Spanky Production Film Beer Money, Champagne Taste, and acting im short films, some modeling and fashion shows.

 

She was has also been on Discoveries "Brain Games" and "Deadly Devotion", where she was a featured lead. She also did featured background on "Blue Bloods" and "Power". Currently, Kenishia is also playing a supporting lead role on an Off Broadway play called, Roommates Musical. She plays the character Rachel. Kenishia is very grateful and thankful for all the wonderful opportunities that God has blessed her with and future opportunities to come.

 

She is very humbled and so thankful. She thanks her family and close friends for the unconditional love and support they have provided her over the years!
