Nicholas Santasier as Sal

 

Nic Santasier is an actor, fight choreographer, and playwright. Raised on Long Island, he entered the theatrical arts through the Ward Melville Players under George Loizides and hasn't looked back since. While there, he had his first play, The Empty Path, performed and was introduced to basic aspects of stage combat.

 

He attended Niagara University and graduated with a BFA in Theatre Studies with an emphasis on performance. While there he developed an interest in stage combat and studied under Steve Vaughan. He choreographed a few pieces both at NU and other schools in the area. He also had several pieces read/performed while attending.

 

After graduating he returned to Long Island and worked with various companies in the area culminating with a year on the road performing with American Family Theatre in children's theatre. Since returning to NYC, he has worked in the off-off Broadway community in several shows as an actor, fight choreographer, and playwright. His latest piece, Notches, was produced in 2011 in NYC.

 

Primarily a theatre artist, he has been branching out into film/tv/web projects including some voice-over work. He currently resides in the NYC area where he is also pursuing some work in photography.

Past roles include: Van Helsing (Dracula), Ezra Chater (Arcadia), Tyler Moss (Crossing Delancey),  Mr. Kilroy (Don't Drink the Water), among others.  

 

Recent work includes a supporting role in the upcoming feature Get Happy!, a supporting role in upcoming short "I Lost my Phone!, several reenactment tv shows, a guest spot on TruTV's "Hack My Life," and several voice over gigs.
